Growing up, many of us had imaginary friends. These companions were more than just playful figments; they were part of the internal worlds we built to explore our hidden desires, identities and emotions. Through fantasy, we allowed ourselves the freedom to express parts of ourselves we couldn’t fully reveal to the outside world.
